A comment from our survey asked: “Why do I need to follow Showing Instructions for vacant houses?”
Believe it or not, this is not as silly as it sounds. Often the listing agent only requests notification before showing and you won’t need to wait for permission. When permission is required, it could be due to safety or security concerns. Our Vacant House Trap post goes into further detail on the topic.
A recent update to Flexmls has made Showing Instructions easier to input and to follow. Whatever the instructions are, be sure to follow them!
