When requesting a showing in Aligned Showings, you’ll have five different appointment types to choose from. Recently, the system has been updated to allow extended durations for non-showing appointments, such as inspections and appraisals, which can now be scheduled for up to six hours. This guide will help you select the most appropriate showing type for your needs.
Showing
With a standard showing (commonly first-time viewings), the maximum appointment length can be set as low as 10 minutes to no maximum, depending on the listing agent’s settings.
Return Showing
If your client wishes to revisit a property, a Return Showing can be booked for as little as 10 minutes or up to three hours.
Appraisal
An Appraisal assesses the value of the property, and usually takes one to two hours to complete. If an appraiser requests an appointment, they can schedule appointments ranging from 10 minutes to 6 hours as necessary.
Inspection
Home Inspections, performed by licensed professionals, evaluate the property’s condition and safety before a home purchase is finalized. These appointments can be set from 10 minutes to a maximum of 6 hours.
Walk-Through
A Walk-Through is the last inspection of a home before closing, allowing the buyer to verify that the home is in the condition agreed upon, and that any promised repairs or updates have been completed. These can be scheduled from 10 minutes to 6 hours, based on the buyer’s or agent’s needs.
