If you have a client who owns a Recreation Vehicle (RV) and is searching for a property with an RV gate, there are two key fields you should consider using in your search.
Assoc Rules Info
The Assoc Rules Info field is important because properties located within a community that has a Homeowners Association (HOA) may include restrictions on RVs. This field can help you quickly identify if RVs are allowed or prohibited by the HOA.
Remember the and/or/not functionality when searching if needing to modify the selections.
This field is not included by default, so you’ll need to manually add it to your search template.
Parking Features
Next, if the association does allow RVs, Parking Features can be a valuable search field if your clients intends to park the RV on the property.
This field is already included in the default Residential-1 property class template.
As a final note, if HOA/Association Rules are too restrictive for your client, adding the field HOA Y/N and selecting No might be a good option before adding RV or Parking selections.
