Every lockbox is programmed with a 7-digit CBS code, which stands for “Call Before Showing”. This is required for any non-licensees that may need to access your lockbox. Sometimes you need to know the code for another agent’s lockbox, and sometimes you need to know it for your own lockbox.

How to Get the CBS Code For Another Agent’s Lockbox

A listing agent may decide to program their lockbox to require all users to enter a CBS code as an additional measure ensuring they have permission to access. Therefore, after you have entered your 4-digit PIN code in the Supra eKEY app to access the lockbox, you’ll be prompted for a CBS code. This can be obtained from only the listing agent. Neither Supra nor ARMLS will be able to give you the CBS code to another agent’s box.
