HOW IT WORKS
You will start by seeing emails from PropertyShield.co with fraud listing activity alerts, as well as having access to the Property Shield Dashboard via Flexmls.

These methods identify listings that appear externally with different pricing, different contact information, different status (e.g., rental vs. for sale) and unauthorized use of media. Monitoring runs continuously across a wide range of publicly accessible platforms
Does Property Shield check my Active and Coming Soon listings in the MLS?
Yes. All on-market listings are checked by Property Shield.
Will I be penalized with ARMLS Data Integrity if there is a fraudulent listing?
No. Property Shield alerts are not violations. They are protective notifications designed to identify potential fraud.
What is Property Shields resolution time?
In many cases, these fake listings can be taken down quickly, reducing the risk to both you and the consumer. Alerts are reviewed within 1 business day. Confirmed fraud acted on same day when possible, takedown initiated immediately.
Do I need a separate login for Property Shield?
No. Property Shield uses Single Sign-On (SSO) through ARMLSDash.com. No additional username or password is required.
What is Ownership Verification by Property Shield?
Ownership Verification is a service that checks a prospective seller’s identity against available property ownership records and helps to prevent fraudulent Land Listings on the MLS. Ownership Verification will be provided at a discounted price of $13 per verification.
