When entering a listing, there’s a handy button on the address tab that can help prevent mistakes and possible rule violations while saving you time. It’s called the Populate Tax Data button and works by populating some required information in your listing.
Using Populate Tax Data Button (aka auto-pop, auto-populate)
To use the button, enter in the full property address or the Assessors Parcel Number (APN) then click the Populate Tax Data. When entering a residential listing the button will populate all the below fields. Fields will vary based on the property type you are entering.
