If you’re using the new Portal 2.0 the answer is…yes! Your clients will have the ability to perform a search of MLS listings. A portal is a link that you’ll send to your client via email through Flexmls. When they click on their portal link they’ll be asked to create a password. Once they’ve successfully logged in to their portal they’ll have the ability to perform a search by clicking the Search tab on their home page. They can search by using the filters or the map.
The Portal 2.0 allows them to search, however they can not save a search, only the agent can. In their portal they’ll be able to view any Saved Searches you’ve created for them.
To send a portal invite to your client you’ll need to add them as a contact in your Contact Management screen. Once added, click on their name then click the Portal tab. Turn ON the portal and click Invite to Portal.
If they like a property they can click on the Star to make it a favorite. If they do not like a particular listing they can click on the No symbol to remove it. You’ll be able to view their portal activity by going to your Contact Management Screen, selecting your contact and clicking on the Activity tab along with the Portal tab.

Excellent! Is this service the same idea as IDX? ie; if we alert our client’s to this benefit for them, do they first start the search through our website, or, now as you describe it, we just email them about this benefit, and tell them how to access?
The client portal is a feature of Flexmls that is included. It’s not IDX, clients need a portal set up for them and a username/password. Learn more here: http://course.armls.com/?cid=vki4ii
