It’s widely known that when you take a Residential for Sale or Residential for Lease listing, one exterior photo must be uploaded within four calendar days of the listing. Even when the listing closes, a qualified exterior photo must remain. What may not be common knowledge is why.

Why Keep the Exterior Photo?

For reference and record keeping purposes for both agents and appraisers, it’s important to have this visual record of for sale or lease. We recommend that all photos remain to aid in this process, but the rule is one photo must remain.

What Counts as a Qualified Exterior?

The exterior photo is the street view of the front elevation of the dwelling which incorporates a substantial portion of the entire dwelling.
