Flexmls has both options to choose from. A subscription will email your client a notification with a link when new listings hit the market that fit their criteria. A portal, on the other hand, is a link you send them that allows them to view their saved searches at any time. The portal also allows them to perform their own search and turn on subscriptions for saved searches.
While subscriptions and portals have similar features, they are in fact two different avenues that allow your clients to view listings. It’s common for subscribers to set up both for their clients.
