Mission and History
ARMLS's mission is to provide its Subscribers with the industry benchmark of quality data and service.
ARMLS’s vision is to be the definitive source of real estate data.
Today modern MLSs have expanded roles beyond the original purpose of MLS: aggregation of property data and facilitation of a unilateral offer of cooperation and compensation to all Subscribers. ARMLS now provides IDX and VOW services to Subscribers, ongoing training, support services and technology solutions for Participants and Subscribers. ARMLS contracts not only with the MLS services provider, but also engages other key service providers for public records data, mapping, lockbox services, remote MLS access through mobile devices, listing syndication and statistical data analysis.
Serving Subscribers
Our approximately 29,000 Subscribers use the MLS to serve their buying and selling public so ARMLS takes data integrity very seriously. The Data Integrity department enforces the ARMLS Rules and Regulations as passed by its Board of Directors and strives to safeguard the accuracy and reliability of the data as a key member benefit for all Subscribers.
Subscribers join ARMLS through their primary REALTOR® Association. Those Subscribers desiring to become more involved in the operation and direction of ARMLS should contact their local Association or a member of the leadership team to make known their desire to serve. ARMLS is driven by the valuable input of Subscribers in the field who use the MLS system and its derivative data products in their real estate practice and are intimately aware of the needs of their fellow Subscribers.
