Candidates must meet the following qualifications to run in the firm election (check all that apply, a PDF of the official qualifications can be found here):

  1. Be a current active non-affiliate and non-assistant subscriber to ARMLS

  2. Be an owner or an officer or a director of a Firm or a branch manager of a Firm in either Group B or Group E

  3. Hold an active real estate broker’s license through the Arizona Department of Real Estate (ADRE) or hold an appraisal license through the Arizona Department of Financial Institutions

  4. Have no ADRE disciplinary actions since August 1st of the prior year

  5. Be a subscriber to ARMLS for a minimum of the past two consecutive years

  6. Have held an active real estate license in the United States for at least 5 years

  7. Have uninterrupted active subscriber status since July 31st of the current election year through the date of the ARMLS shareholder annual meeting

  8. Not be a candidate who shall seek or be appointed a board seat that would cause the board member to go past 12 consecutive years of board service

  9. Must attend one of two pre-election informational online webinars/conference calls with the ARMLS CEO on 8/8 at 11:30 a.m. OR on 8/10 at 10:00 a.m.

  10. Agree that if elected or appointed, you will be willing to attend an on-site one-day director elect orientation session which will include such topics as fiduciary duty, appeals training, education on ARMLS operations, departments and staff
